:Course Description

Introduction in design, design methodology (concept, alternatives, and considerations, skills of teamwork, reports, and construction and detail drawings of machines). Comprehensive design projects include: fixed and moveable joints, shafts, sliding and rolling bearings, gears, couplings, clutches and breakes, belt drives. Use of standards and technical manuals. Application of computer programs.
